march 5, 2013--infographic
Today you will spend time searching for, uploading to a Word
document, and evaluating an infographic. School Appropriate!
You need to...
* Include the URL address for the site on which you find
your infographic.
* Tell how many infographics you looked at before choosing
and what words you typed to begin your search.
* Detail why you chose this infographic. What made it stand
out from the others? Be specific.
* Analyze the color selections the infographic contains. Why
are those colors important to the topic and to the consumer?
* Analyze the font of the infographic. Is it large or small? Why
is font size important? Is it bold or regular? Why is that
important?
* Analyze the structure of the infographic. Is is cause and effect?
Is it problem/solution? Is it compare and contrast? Is it
sequenced? Is it descriptive? How does the structure of the
infographic impact the reader? What impact would another
structure have on the message to the reader of the infographic?
* Analyze the content of the infographic. Is the topic relevant
to today? Who is the intended audience? Does the infographic
use Pathos, Ethos, or Logos? Is the type of appeal effective? Why
or why not?
